The Garden opens at 9.00 am and closes at 4.00 pm. They welcome visitors all year round except on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, and the admission is free.

The 3.1 Km walking trails are a little bit challenging for some of you, and some of you may find it's the easy peasy trail. It will take approximately 1 hour to complete, offering mesmerising landscapes where you can indulge in bird watching and fishing. I was lucky enough to spot Red Crested Cardinal and white-rumped Shama. Cattle Egrets are pretty common there. If you have some photography skills, you can capture some stunning moments.
Enjoy A Picnic With A View
There are many picnic spots where you can spend quality time with your family getting the tropical vibes. Your kids will love feeding the duck by the lake. They allow camping from Friday to Monday, and my younger brother enjoyed building tents and learning how to read the map. There are facilities like covered pavilions with picnic tables and barbecue stands, which surely enhance your picnicking experience.
Other facilities I loved were public restrooms, campgrounds, fire pits and parking near picnic areas.

In spring and fall, Hawaii is the most optimal season to experience natural beauty at its fullest when gardens feature its true beauty. In my experience, when morning lighting spreads over the botanical garden, the exposure is more serene and dramatic.
What To Bring
Make sure you come with comfortable walking shoes, insect repellent for tackling mosquitoes, plenty of water if you are planning to walk the trails, and an SPF 30 sunscreen, which will be enough for dealing with sun exposure.
